01 — Enterprise System

Universal News Scraper

Problem

No existing tool could monitor 300+ heterogeneous news sites simultaneously, deduplicate overlapping stories, and annotate each article with sentiment, keywords, and category — all in real time.

Solution

Built a custom async scraping engine with per-site adapters, a Regex/NLP annotation pipeline, SQLAlchemy deduplication layer, and a MariaDB-backed storage system. 100,000+ articles processed in 10 days. Ongoing production system.

02 — Computer Vision

Entity Recognition & Tracking

Problem

Production environment required automated detection of human presence, head orientation, and gaze direction with a custom identity tracker that would survive frame drops and partial obstructions.

Solution

Built with RT-DETR & YOLOv8 for detection, MediaPipe for facial landmarks, and OpenCV solvePnP for head pose estimation. Custom Hamming-distance tracking algorithm maintains entity continuity across frames.

03 — Automation

VisaScrape — Visa Slot Monitor

Problem

Visa appointment slots appear and disappear within seconds on government booking portals — too fast for manual monitoring by humans.

Solution

Playwright-driven monitor polls the booking page continuously. When a slot appears, a Telegram bot notifies the group instantly and auto-fills form fields with pre-saved personal data. Zero manual intervention required at appointment time.

Remote PC Controller

Problem

Needed full remote control of a home PC from a mobile phone — without relying on heavyweight third-party software like TeamViewer or AnyDesk.

Solution

C# ASP.NET backend runs on the target machine, exposing a custom REST API on a specific port. A lightweight browser-based mobile companion app sends commands. Works anywhere in the world via port forwarding.

BlurPriv

Problem

Sensitive on-screen content is constantly exposed during screen sharing, recordings, and video calls — with no lightweight, automatic, privacy-first solution to handle it.

Solution

A privacy-focused SaaS product built around real-time screen content detection and selective blurring. Lightweight, non-intrusive, and designed for a very specific niche. Currently in active development.

Rustam Cafarzade — Psychologist Site

Problem

Psychologist client needed a premium professional web presence — but existing freelance options delivered cookie-cutter templates with no attention to personal branding or user experience.

Solution

Custom-designed and built with Next.js and React. Fully responsive, with polished typography, service listings, and appointment flow optimized for client trust and conversion. Live in production.

A privacy-first SaaS product that automatically detects and blurs sensitive content during screen sharing and recordings. Built around computer vision — lightweight, fast, and non-intrusive. The product is niche by design: it solves one specific problem, and solves it well.

Who I am.

I am Said Amiraslanli — a self-taught developer who started coding in 2015 out of childhood curiosity. No bootcamps, no courses. Just a kid with a computer and a burning need to understand how things work.

Over the years I've built everything from C# client loaders to enterprise-scale news scrapers, from computer vision tracking systems to SaaS products. I've done freelance work in Azerbaijan, contributed to serious production systems at work, and always kept building on the side.

My stack spans front-to-back: React, Vue, Next.js, Node.js, FastAPI, Flask, Python, databases like MongoDB, MariaDB, SQLite, PostgreSQL, and systems work with Linux, Nginx, Bash, Lua. I also do reverse engineering (dnSpy, Il2Cpp), computer vision (YOLO, OpenCV), and apply design patterns and code refactoring in everything I build.

Currently based in Baku, Azerbaijan, pursuing my degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering while shipping real software every day.

Ship real things

I don't build toy projects for resumes. Everything I've made has been used in production, by real people, for real purposes — or is actively being developed toward that goal.

Principle 02

Dig into the root

I find the actual source of every problem, not just the symptom. Whether it's a regex bug at 3am or a race condition in async code — I don't stop until it's truly fixed.

Principle 03

Learn by building

Every technology I know, I learned by using it on a real project. Reading docs, hitting walls, debugging, and figuring it out. That's the only kind of learning that sticks.
